This is a senior finance leadership role responsible for ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting in compliance with U.S. GAAP while maintaining a robust system of accounting policies, controls, and processes.\n\nThe ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and can balance strategic oversight with active involvement in day-to-day accounting operations with a strong bent toward people leadership. The Controller will partner closely with cross-functional leaders, support business scalability, and oversee critical functions including month-end close, payroll, indirect taxes, and statutory compliance.\n\nResponsibilities\nFinancial Reporting\nOversee the preparation of accurate and timely periodic financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP\nLead and manage the month-end and year-end close processes\nEnhance and optimize accounting and financial reporting systems\nServe as NetSuite System Administrator (strongly preferred)\nSupport revenue recognition and customer invoicing processes, ideally within a professional services or consulting environment\nTechnical Accounting & Controls\nEstablish and maintain well-documented accounting policies and procedures\nResearch and provide guidance on technical accounting matters related to contracts and business agreements\nDesign, implement, and monitor internal controls to mitigate financial risk\nEnsure alignment between financial systems and evolving business processes\nCompliance & Audit\nLead annual financial audits and coordinate external audit activities\nOversee the preparation and filing of income tax, gross receipts tax, and sales tax returns\n\nEnsure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and reporting requirements\n\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred)\nCPA strongly preferred; CMA a plus\n8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, ideally within a small to mid-sized, high-growth organization\nDemonstrated experience managing external audits\nStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting\nHands-on ERP experience; NetSuite administration strongly preferred\nProven ability to effectively lead and develop accounting teams\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities\nAdaptability and a continuous improvement mindset\nPreferred Requirements\nCollaborative mindset with the ability to build strong partnerships across Finance, Operations, and leadership teams\nComfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment where processes are still being built and ambiguity is expected\nHands-on leadership style with the ability to dive into the details while also maintaining strategic oversight\nIntellectual curiosity and willingness to learn, adopt, and optimize new tools and technologies\nFlexible and resilient, with the ability to navigate shifting priorities, tight deadlines, and frequent context switching\n\nKey Competencies:\nAnalytical mindset with a keen attention to detail.\nStrategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.\nStrong leadership skills with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.\nThrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment — energized by constant motion rather than drained by it\nBuilds strong relationships and partnerships across the organization, as well as the finance team\nAbility to adapt to evolving business needs and drive continuous improvement.\nDemonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nSelf-motivated with a high sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize effectively.\n\nOther Things We Look For:\nWillingness and ability to work longer hours and outside of traditional office hours as needed to keep timelines on track and communicate with colleagues in multiple time zones\nFlexible and not frustrated by changing priorities, context switching, and tight deadlines\nDemonstrates a regular approach to work that is highly consistent with our company values and company culture\nAbility to work successfully in a low-distraction remote/work-from-home environment.\n\nAbout Isos Technology\nIsos Technology partners with organizations to streamline, optimize, and modernize the way they work.
