This position works with the Development Director towards achieving optimum results in relation to the available resources. The salary for this position will be dependent on experience and education. The position will close on 7/6/2026, and all applicants will be contacted once the position closes.\nREQUIREMENTS:\nBachelor's degree in an appropriate field. Experience in donor database management, event organization, and grant writing are essential. Knowledge of child abuse and investigative procedures desired.\nPROFESSIONAL SKILLS:\nMust be mission driven with unquestionable integrity. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with many different constituencies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, facilitation skills and a collaborative management approach is required. Analytical ability and resourcefulness, as required in developing and implementing progressive plans, policies and program initiatives.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nFund Development\nExecute the Development Strategic Plan in coordination with the Development Director.\nCoordinate successful special events (Heroes & Legends) with volunteer leadership.\nOrganize and facilitate procedures for researching prospective donors and cultivating current donors.\nExecution of donor stewardship plan in coordination with the Development Director.\nResearch, compose and oversee grant-writing opportunities as needed under the direction of the Development Director.\nAssist with processing income and in-kind gifts.\nUtilize donor database for record keeping and reporting of all -kind contributions, donations, grant awards and submissions as needed for donor acknowledgement.\nFollow the ethical procedures of Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP).\nCoordinate with Outreach Specialist in relation to outreach efforts and events.\nAdditional Responsibilities\nRegular reporting to the Development Director\nExperience in Bloomerang desired\nParticipate actively in all major events that include but are not limited to Child Abuse Prevention Month (April) Activities, Heroes and Legends\nBi-lingual preferred\nMust be able to lift 50 lbs.\nMust have a valid driver’s license.\nMust not have any criminal history.
