Specimen Processing Specialist (Male)

Almax Consulting is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join their Specimen Processing team. The Specimen Processing Specialist will be responsible for 3 primary components including specimen collection and data entry. The schedule for this position will be: Rotating Shift, as 1 Saturday per month and 1 Sunday per month is required. The schedule would be 5x8's. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing Routes specimens by type to various staging areas or designated department Spin samples, pour urine tubes, and create frozen samples Pick up and deliver samples to clients/hospitals Unpack and route specimen to their respective staging areas Accurately identify and label specimens Pack and ship specimen to proper testing facilities Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples Process all necessary paperwork to process and submit a specimen Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Perform audits in order to resolve any outstanding issues Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $20.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Relocation assistance Travel reimbursement Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Rotating shift Weekends as needed Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Hayward, CA 94541 (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: Hayward, CA 94541: Relocate before starting work (Required) Willingness to travel: 50% (Preferred) Work Location: In person
