Engineering Manager Pipelines and Facilities

Position SummarySeeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a growing pipeline and facility engineering team. This role blends technical leadership, project oversight, personnel management, and staff development, supporting a wide range of projects from pipeline alignments to complex facility design.The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and the ability to mentor engineers while maintaining high-quality deliverables and client relationships.What You Will DoLead engineering efforts across pipeline and natural gas facility projectsProvide oversight and direction to a team of engineers, project managers, and designersServe as a technical authority for both civil (pipeline) and mechanical (facility) design workCollaborate with clients, contractors, internal SMEs, and project teams to deliver practical, high-quality solutionsDrive continuous improvement in engineering standards, processes, and deliverablesKey ResponsibilitiesManage and mentor engineering staff, including workload balancing and professional developmentOversee design and execution of pipeline projects (alignments, bore profiles, site development, utility permitting)Oversee facility design projects (meter/regulator stations, compressor stations, P&IDs, equipment selection)Review and approve engineering deliverables for accuracy, quality, and complianceEnsure adherence to applicable codes and standards, including Title 49 CFR Part 192Support project management activities, including scope development, bid events, scheduling, budgeting, and cost estimatingMaintain and develop client relationships, including participation in meetings and technical discussionsCoordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including operations and field personnel, construction inspectors, subconsultants, and project managersSupport proposal development and contribute to business growth initiativesConduct occasional field visits to support project execution and quality assuranceRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited universityActive Professional Engineer (PE) license required10 years of experience in utility and/or facility engineering, or adjacent industriesStrong proficiency with AutoCAD (Civil 3D and/or Plant 3D preferred)Extensive experience developing detailed engineering drawings, plans, notes, and detailsExperience managing larger, multi-disciplinary projectsDemonstrated experience leading engineering teams and managing technical deliverablesFamiliarity with advanced utility permittingAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExperience with cost estimating, project scheduling, and project lifecycle executionStrong understanding of relevant industry codes and standards (preference of knowledge in 49 CFR Part 192)Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skillsDemonstrated ability to drive process improvements and standardization effortsPreferred QualificationsExperience in both natural gas pipeline and facility engineering environmentsBackground in consulting or working with multiple projects, stakeholders, and project typesExperience with hydraulic modeling softwareFamiliarity with GIS platforms and data integrationFamiliarity with environmental and regulatory permitting processesBenefits & Total RewardsEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)Competitive salaryHybrid schedule (2 remote days/week after introductory period)Health, dental, vision401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysTuition reimbursementMentorship programPE support #LI-HH1 Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) ITS is an international recruiting and staffing firm specializing in Engineering, Technical and Professional positions.
