The candidate will be responsible for PCB assembly, testing, debugging, and characterization of electronic devices. This role requires strong hands-on technical skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced development environment. This position is required to be on-site in Boulder, Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm.\nJob Responsibilities:\nPerform PCB assembly testing, rework, and modifications tasks\nAssist in testing and debugging of electronic circuits and systems\nInterpret and work from electrical schematics and technical drawings\nExecute device tests and document procedures and test results\nWork closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in electronic assemblies\nCapable of lifting and moving objects that weigh up to 25 pounds\nProcurement of lab supplies\nMaintain lab safety and ESD awareness program\nMaintain calibration and equipment maintenance schedule\nPerform quality control checks on hardware\nPerform other duties as assigned\nExperience & Education\nA.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent on-the-job experience\n3+ years of hands-on electronics experience in a lab or manufacturing environment\nQualifications\nPCB Assembly & Rework: Proficient in soldering, desoldering, and component placement including SMD and through-hole components; proficient with both soldering irons and hot air guns\nExperience testing and debugging common PCB assembly issues\nAbility to interpret basic electrical schematics and layouts\nExperienced working with digital multimeters and oscilloscopes; experience with spectrum analyzers is a nice to have\nStrong attention to detail and methodical approach to problem-solving\nAbility to work independently and follow detailed procedures\nPreferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)\nIPC J-STD-001 Certification\nIPC-A-610 Certification\nExperience with RF / microwave testing and measurements\nLinux familiarity: Basic command line navigation and file operations\nBasic scripting (Python) skills for creating and executing automated test procedures\nAbility to work effectively in an open, collaborative environment\nExcellent communication, listening and people skills\nAtom Computing provides a wide variety of perks and benefits, including fully paid medical, dental, and vision insurance for our employees and their dependents.
