By leveraging over five decades of manufacturing expertise and employing an extensive technologies portfolio, we design, manufacture, and finish incomparable stock and customized solutions for numerous markets.\n\nLocation: New Albany, Ohio\n\nReports to: Waste Treatment Lead\n\nShift : Sunday-Thursday, 10:30pm - 7:30am\n\nThe Environmental Control Operator is responsible for ensuring that the nickel, nox scrubbers, TSS and neutralization whole flow environmental systems and processes are operated and are maintained at the required performance level.\n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.\n\nMonitor and operate waste water and air scrubbing systems\n\nAdd chemicals as needed\n\nWatch for proper nickel flocculation and precipitation\n\nCheck for proper pH ranges\n\nCheck NOX scrubber circulation tank\n\nLabel stored chemicals according to OSHA regulations\n\nClean and store empty containers\n\nMaintain chemical inventory reports\n\nParticipate in Emergency Response System\n\nStore wastes properly\n\nTake readings and log information on chiller, boiler and air compressor as necessary\n\nKeep waste treatment area neat and clean\n\nAny other duties as assigned\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\n\nHigh School diploma or equivalent\n\nMust satisfactorily complete Chemical Safe Handling and Operations Training within first 6 months of employment\n\nCapable of working in a chemical environment\n\nCurrent HAZWOPER training, or ability to become certified with 6 months of hire.\n\nCurrent Forklift training or ability to become certified with 30 days of hire.\n\nMathematical skills including addition, subtraction, division and multiplication\n\nSelf-motivated and able to work independently with minimal direction\n\nAble to wear a respirator (no facial hair which would interfere with fit)\n\nAble to work overtime as needed - sometimes on a short notice or on weekends\n\nAnomatic takes pride in creating a safe and inclusive environment that encourages, supports, and celebrates the diverse voices of our employees and the communities in which they live.
