Candidates must have hands-on MTA construction inspection experience and be ready to mobilize quickly.ResponsibilitiesPerform daily field inspections and prepare reports per MTA standardsMonitor contractor compliance with contract documents, safety, and quality requirementsDocument daily construction activity including field reports, photos, and logs (Unifier experience a plus)Attend hold point inspections and coordinate with MTA C&D staffSupport General Order (GO) coverage including nights and weekends as requiredCoordinate with flaggers, maintainers, and railroad-supplied services in active rail environmentsAssist with punch lists, substantial completion walkthroughs, and closeout documentationQualificationsMinimum 5 years of field inspection experience on MTA C&D, NYCT, or MTA-agency construction projectsFamiliarity with MTA construction procedures, PMGs, and Unifier document managementOSHA-30 requiredTrack safety trainingADA, structural, civil, architectural, or mechanical inspection experience preferredChapter 17 Special Inspection credentials a strong plusFlexibility for nights, weekends, and GO windowsStrong written documentation skills
