This role helps shape enterprise-wide data strategy, strengthens data governance and accessibility, and provides technical leadership across analytics engineering. The position contributes to data-driven decision-making while supporting AI and machine learning initiatives.Responsibilities:• Architect scalable data models and develop ELT pipelines using technologies such as Airflow, dbt, Databricks, and Sigma.• Design and launch self-service analytics products that connect data insights directly to business outcomes.• Provide technical leadership and influence architectural decisions across the analytics engineering team.• Improve data literacy and identify and resolve data gaps across the organization.• Collaborate with data scientists, product engineers, and business stakeholders to curate, govern, and maintain high-quality data.• Develop tools, frameworks, and processes that improve data accessibility and enable AI-driven data capabilities.• Establish and promote data engineering, modeling, governance, and technical standards across teams.• Support enterprise data observability and continuously improve data quality, reliability, and transparency.Requirements:• 10+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering, with strong expertise in data architecture and pipeline development.• Proficiency with relational databases, DRY data modeling principles, and efficient SQL development.• Expert knowledge of AWS, Databricks, Delta Lake, Airflow, dbt, Redshift, and DataHub, with hands-on dbt experience required.• Experience designing and implementing self-service reporting solutions using BI platforms such as Looker or Sigma.• Experience implementing enterprise-level data observability frameworks.• Hands-on experience using AI tools to support data processing, accessibility, and democratization.• Knowledge of data lake architectures and batch and streaming data processing.• Proven ability to establish and drive data governance and technical standards across teams.• Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to leadership and non-technical stakeholders.• Demonstrated ability to connect data insights to business decisions and measurable outcomes.• Independent and innovative approach with a strong commitment to continuous learning.• Experience in data science or business operations is a plus.Pay Range and Compensation Package:• The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
