Assistant Electro-Mechanical Technician
Position Overview
We are seeking an Assistant Electro-Mechanical Technician to support product testing, assembly verification, and data collection in a test lab environment. This is a hands-on role suited for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and an interest in electrical and mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in testing and evaluating electro-mechanical assemblies and components.
Operate standard bench-top electrical test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.).
Perform basic mechanical and electrical assembly tasks as needed.
Record and organize test results accurately.
Maintain lab equipment, tools, and work areas in good working order.
Support engineers and senior technicians with test setups, documentation, and troubleshooting.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in electronics, mechanical engineering technology, or a related field is a plus.
Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
Familiarity with standard electrical test instruments.
Proficient in Microsoft Windows and common PC applications (Excel, Word, file management, etc.).
Ability to follow detailed test procedures and work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
Preferred Experience
Background in engineering, scientific testing, or electronics manufacturing.
Exposure to quality control, calibration, or reliability testing environments.
Basic understanding of electrical circuits and mechanical assemblies.
