In this role, you will help improve how we handle and share information related to technology transfers by developing and maintaining Microsoft Power Platform solutions that support enterprise knowledge management, workflow automation, data integration, and business process improvement. This position supports the Director of Submarine International Programs at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC.\n\nResponsibilities:\nKnowledge Management Systems: Help develop, implement, and maintain systems that make storing, retrieving, and sharing information easier and more effective.\nWeb-Based Application Development: Work on designing, developing, and updating Canvas Power Apps to support our knowledge management needs. You will use Power Automate, Power BI, Sharepoint, and Dataverse.\nRequirements Analysis: Team up with stakeholders to gather and understand their needs for web-based solutions. Turn these needs into technical plans and designs.\nSystem Integration: Assist in connecting our knowledge management systems with other applications and databases to improve data flow and accessibility.\nData Management: Help ensure our data is accurate, consistent, and secure. You will also assist with data migration and cleanup when needed.\nUser Support and Training: Provide support and training to users on how to use our systems and tools. Troubleshoot and solve any issues to keep things running smoothly.\nDocumentation: Create and keep up-to-date documents about our systems and processes, making sure they are clear and accessible.\nContinuous Improvement: Monitor how our systems are performing and gather feedback to suggest and implement improvements.\nEducation and Experience:\nBS/BA in any field of study.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, and others).\nExperience: Basic experience or coursework in knowledge management or web-based application development.\nTechnical Skills: Familiarity with Power Fx, DAX, HTML, CSS.\nGood problem-solving abilities, clear communication skills, and the ability to work well with both technical and non-technical team members.\nActive DoD Secret Clearance\nDesired Education and Experience:\nRelated vocational or technical training.\nKnowledge Management or Database Certifications.\nExperience: Exposure to knowledge management systems, content management systems, and enterprise software solutions.\nDatabase Knowledge: Understanding of database management and SQL.\nCloud Solutions: Basic knowledge of cloud-based services.\n\nWork Location: Vicinity of Washington Navy Yard, Washington, DC.
