This is an entry level position. Yes, that means we will train the right person!\n\nEssential Functions:\n\nAdvanced Testing- Characterization and problem solving using advanced analytical equipment.\n\nSpecification Testing- Evaluation of coatings system to specifications or other test requirements using ASTM (or other) test methods.\n\nQuality Assurance Investigation- Prepare and test samples to support customer complaint investigation activities. Root Cause analysis and corrective actions based on knowledge of lab and plant processes.\n\nScale Up Support (Stage Gate)- Support scale up activities of new or difficult to manufacture formulations in the plant.\n\nEnsure compliance to all record keeping and documentation requirements supporting laboratory activities.\n\nProvide technical assistance to internal departments and customers.\n\nEnsure and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.\n\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nCompetencies:\n\nProject Management- Demonstrates quality, proficiency, speed and complete accountability for assigned tasks.
