You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data engineering teams, and leadership to deliver high quality analytics solutions.\r\nThis position is located on site in Smithfield, RI.\r\nYour future duties and responsibilities\r\nAnalyze and translate business needs into functional requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment with enterprise objectives.\r\nWork with large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and data anomalies that drive business insights.\r\nDevelop and maintain SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and analysis across relational databases.\r\nUtilize data aggregation tools such as Alteryx to prepare, blend, and transform data for reporting and analytics.\r\nBuild and maintain analytics dashboards using Tableau (or similar BI tools) to support decision making and performance tracking.\r\nCollaborate with business teams to understand reporting needs and deliver meaningful, actionable insights.\r\nSupport data quality initiatives by validating data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems.\r\nDocument business requirements, data flows, and reporting logic to ensure transparency and maintainability.\r\nWork within enterprise scale environments, partnering with cross functional teams to support ongoing analytics initiatives.\r\nApply strong business acumen to interpret data in the context of financial services operations.\r\nRequired Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role\r\n3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or BI/Data Analyst in enterprise scale projects.\r\nStrong database and SQL knowledge for querying, data validation, and analysis.\r\nExperience analyzing large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.\r\nHands on experience with data aggregation tools such as Alteryx.\r\nProficiency in building Tableau dashboards or similar BI visualizations.\r\nStrong ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable functional requirements.\r\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to present insights to technical and non technical stakeholders.\r\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\r\nExperience in the financial services domain.\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nExperience with additional BI tools (Power BI, Qlik).\r\nFamiliarity with data warehousing concepts and reporting data models.\r\nExposure to cloud based data environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).\r\nExperience with enterprise workflow tools or automation platforms.\r\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in fast paced environments.\r\nOther Information\r\nCGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
