You will contribute to customer journeys across product discovery, offers, marketplace, checkout, payments, loyalty, order management, and fulfillment while helping establish engineering standards for a large-scale mobile platform.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nBuild large-scale iOS experiences by designing, developing, testing, and maintaining production-grade features using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and modern Apple frameworks.\n\nDeliver commerce capabilities spanning product discovery, catalog, offers, promotions, cart, checkout, payments, loyalty and rewards, order status, and fulfillment.\n\nOwn technical delivery from solution design and estimation through implementation, testing, release readiness, production validation, and operational support.\n\nShape mobile architecture through modular design, protocol-driven components, dependency management, reusable frameworks, and clear separation of concerns.\n\nIntegrate enterprise services using secure REST or GraphQL APIs, asynchronous networking, authentication, caching, error handling, and resilient offline-aware patterns.\n\nEngineer for scale by optimizing startup time, rendering, memory, battery, network usage, concurrency, and responsiveness for a high-volume consumer application.\n\nProtect transactional journeys by applying secure coding, Keychain storage, token handling, privacy controls, fraud-prevention integration, and payment security practices.\n\nImprove quality through unit, integration, snapshot, and UI automation testing, effective code reviews, static analysis, and measurable quality gates.\n\nStrengthen observability with analytics, structured logging, crash reporting, tracing, performance monitoring, dashboards, and actionable production alerts.\n\nCollaborate across platforms with Android and backend engineers to align API contracts, domain models, edge cases, and consistent customer behavior.\n\nSupport reliable releases through CI/CD, feature flags, phased rollouts, App Store readiness, production monitoring, incident response, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.\n\nLead through influence by mentoring engineers, facilitating technical discussions, documenting decisions, and raising engineering standards across the pod.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\n7+ years of professional iOS development experience, including significant ownership of complex production applications.\n\nAdvanced proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Xcode, iOS SDK, structured concurrency, and modern Apple development practices.\n\nDemonstrated experience designing and delivering mobile capabilities for a large customer base, with strong attention to reliability, performance, and operational readiness.\n\nStrong knowledge of mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM, VIPER, Clean Architecture, coordinator patterns, protocol-oriented design, and dependency injection.\n\nHands-on experience integrating RESTful or GraphQL services, authentication flows, JSON data models, caching, pagination, retries, and failure handling.\n\nStrong understanding of memory management, application lifecycle, multithreading, networking, accessibility, localization, and responsive UI implementation.\n\nExperience with XCTest, XCUITest, automated regression testing, mocking, test doubles, and maintainable test design.\n\nExperience with Git-based development, pull-request reviews, branching strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and App Store release processes.\n\nAbility to troubleshoot complex production issues using logs, metrics, crash reports, traces, and customer-impact data.\n\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills in Agile/Scrum teams, including estimation, refinement, sprint planning, demonstrations, and retrospectives.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience developing commerce, marketplace, payment, loyalty, rewards, subscription, retail, or telecom applications.\n\nExperience with applications serving millions of customers or supporting high-volume transactional journeys.\n\nKnowledge of payment tokenization, PCI-DSS considerations, mobile fraud controls, secure storage, and privacy-by-design practices.\n\nExperience with modular iOS codebases, Swift Package Manager, reusable design systems, feature flags, and progressive delivery.\n\nExperience with performance and observability platforms such as Firebase, Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, or equivalent tools.\n\nFamiliarity with event-driven architectures, analytics event schemas, experimentation, A/B testing, and real-time customer events.\n\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.\n\nPrevious T-Mobile, telecom, or high-transaction-volume consumer application experience.\n\nThe base salary for this position is $92,250 to $135,000 plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies.
