Help us reach new heights and receive the respect, rewards and recognition you deserve.\nFixed Operations Manager Job Description\nReporting to a District Manager/Market Manager a Fixed Operations Manager is a front-line sales and management position responsible for leading organic revenue growth and developing Technicians at a limited number of work-sites.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nLeadership\nActs as Team Leader and mentor to Technicians\nMaintains daily contact with Technicians both in-person and over-the-phone\nSchedules Technicians and distributes work-load\nWorks with DM/ROD/RVP to ensure staffing levels meet existing and upcoming new business needs\nHires new Technicians and coordinates the smooth transition through orientation into regular service\nEnsures Technicians receive appropriate technical support to maximize production\nShares methods, aids, and techniques to enhance Technician performance\nIdentifies high-potential Technicians and schedules advanced and cross training opportunities\nCommunicates employee strengths and opportunities for improvement\nProvides balanced \"in-the-moment\" feedback\nProactively addresses performance deficiencies and takes steps to correct\nWrites development plans when necessary\nAuthors and conducts formal performance reviews annually\nOperations\nActs as the \"Pivot-point\" between customers, Technicians, and home office\nInitiates new business relationships at auctions, rental agencies, and auto dealers\nBuilds on current customer relationships to effectively expand into new services\nEducates client managers and service writers about reconditioning services such as PDR, partial bumper and wheel restoration.\nConducts weekly/monthly utilization review of client/department accounts\nChecks the quality of reconditioned repairs to ensure Company standards\nUtilizes quality checks as aids to create additional revenue opportunities\nLeads monthly Technician meetings to share the happenings and direction of the Company\nChecks the quality of reconditioned repairs to ensure Company standards\nUtilizes quality checks as aids to create additional revenue opportunities\nImproves personal sales skills, knowledge, and abilities\nAdministrative\nOversees compliance with all facility regulatory standards and Company policies\nEnsures Company supplies, tents, vehicles and equipment are kept clean and orderly\nManages supply levels and inventories while controlling shop waste\nReinforces Company expectations regarding professionalism ie. customer service, quality, dress code\nPrepares operational updates and Technician performance reports\nQualifications\nExperience coaching and managing team performance\nBackground managing multiple projects with various timelines and often conflicting priorities\nService orientation with ability to work across sales channels to create added value\nDemonstrated presentation skills\nCredible and persuasive communicator and active listener\nSolid understanding of financial results and material costs\nProper judgment and common-sense decision-making when solving problems and creating solutions\nKnowledge of pertinent local and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations\nThe compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.\nThe starting compensation is expected to be:\n$70,000.00\nWe offer a competitive & comprehensive benefit package including: paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and 401k match (50% on the dollar up to 7% of employee contribution).
