{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"00d5751ff20ce281becf74ae","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/00d5751ff20ce281becf74ae","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/00d5751ff20ce281becf74ae","title":"3rd Shift Technical Supervisor","description":"Job description:\nLeadec is a $1.0B industrial services company with over 20,000 employees serving automotive OEM's and other large manufacturers around the world.\nWe perform a wide range of services for our customers and are currently growing to meet our North American customer's needs for engineering and project services.\nPosition Purpose:\nWe are seeking a 3rd Shift Technical Supervisor who has the ability to work the following shift: Thursday - Sunday (8 PM - 6 AM each day)\nProvide leadership, support and knowledge to Group Leaders and their respective teams.\nResponsibilities:\nDemonstrates the values and business principles of Leadec\nWorks safely at all times\nEnsure the safe operation of teams through regular communications, work observations and modeling a \"Safety, it's Your Life\" mentality\nEffectively manages the Leadec scope of work (SOW)\nEffectively communicates necessary information and status updates to manager\nIncorporates \"PDCA\" (Plan, Do, Check, Act) mindset into regular routine\nFocuses on labor, equipment, and tools allocation, best practice guidelines, and continuous improvement\nEffectively communicates necessary information to management\nManagement all required Leadec and customer reporting processes\nActively attends all required meetings\nAll other duties as assigned by Leadec Manager\nPosition Requirements:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent education\nPrevious experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse environment\nPrevious experience in supervision or management role\nAbility to work the following schedule: Thursday - Sunday (8 PM - 6 AM each day)\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the key actions of the job:\nThe employee is required to talk and/or hear in an industrial setting (noise level is moderate). The employee is frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surface from 8-12 hours.
