{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"00d1fc9baeee2fe3b16f3f36","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/00d1fc9baeee2fe3b16f3f36","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/00d1fc9baeee2fe3b16f3f36","title":"Shift Manager","description":"Job Summary\r\nThis position performs, leads, and supervises basic operational duties to provide quality products and service to guests.\r\nEssential Duties\r\nPerform, lead, and supervise station duties (fountain & frozen, dresser, front swamp, back swamp, grill, switchboard, expeditor, food prep, and drive-thru (if applicable)) assigned to meet operational and quality standards.\r\nEnsure team is working to capacity and meeting speed of service standards.\r\nCoach and train crew members on tasks.\r\nComply with all company policies, procedures, and operational standards.\r\nAssist with new employee orientation and training.\r\nReport customer or employee complaints/issues to MOD.\r\nPerform, lead, and supervise regular cleaning and sanitation duties – including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes and food preparation tools, wiping counters, sanitizing food preparation areas, cleaning equipment, and emptying used grease – pursuant to operational standards.\r\nMaintain regular attendance.\r\nAdditional Duties\r\nLead shift meetings.\r\nMove and stock food product weighing up to 50 pounds.\r\nPerform other job-related duties as assigned or required.\r\nRequired Skills / Abilities\r\nGeneral restaurant or retail knowledge.\r\nBasic math and reading skills.\r\nEffective verbal and written communication skills.\r\nAbility to follow directions.\r\nMulti-tasking skills, decision-making, leadership, time-management, and conflict-resolution skills.\r\nEducation / Experience\r\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.\r\nTime / Shift Expectations\r\nMinimum of 30 hours per week; irregular hours, nights, weekends; and holidays.\r\nPhysical Requirements / Working Conditions\r\nContinuous standing, bending, reaching, moving, stooping, stretching, and lifting in a restaurant environment; frequent exposure to heat and hot liquid while cooking; frequent exposure to freezer when stocking food items; occasional exposure to extreme temperatures based on variable weather conditions.\r\nBenefits\r\nEligible variable-hour employees may qualify for medical, dental, and vision coverage with a company contribution toward employee-only coverage after completing a 12-month measurement period and averaging 30+ hours per week.
