At IDT, you'll be part of a culture rooted in continuous learning and improvement—where your growth fuels our mission to accelerate the pace of genomics and helps shape a healthier, brighter future for all.The Technician II role will play a key part in delivering high-quality products by performing essential manufacturing activities - including decontamination, material transfer, and equipment operation - in strict alignment with SOPs, work instructions, and customer-specific requirements. This position is responsible for performing various PCR protocols and post-PCR cleanup procedures, and applies DNA repair techniques, including site-directed mutagenesis. This generally includes quantification, final packaging, and QC sampling of the products being made.This position reports to the Weekday Supervisor, is part of the Fast Turn Blocks and Clonal Products Value Stream located in Coralville, Iowa and will be an on-site role. Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Accurately use aids and work instructions to make decisions about proper production flow based on product type or services.Use a variety of lab equipment to process products including maintenance and troubleshooting activities.Perform lab cleaning and decontamination protocols in accordance with work instructions and Maintenance Connection softwareThe essential requirements of the job include:An associate degree in a science-related field and at least two years of lab experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:A bachelor's degreeLife Science work experience.IDT, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
