At 42°, we thrive in fast-paced environments, take pride in our craftsmanship, and operate with a mindset grounded in teamwork, accountability, and compliance.\nJob Title: Fulfillment Associate\nReports to: Fulfillment Supervisor\nLocation: Kalkaska, MI\nSalary Range: $16-$17 per hour\nSchedule: Monday-Thursday 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM (can be flexible on start/end time)\nPosition Objective:\nThe Fulfillment Associate supports order preparation, staging, packaging verification, inventory handling, documentation, delivery readiness, and fulfillment accuracy in a compliant environment.\nEssential Functions:\nOperational Execution (35%)\nPerform or lead assigned packaging, fulfillment, staging, transport, or weekend production activities according to daily priorities.\nQuality, Accuracy & Documentation (25%)\nVerify labels, counts, weights, order details, inventory movements, manifests, and required documentation as applicable.\nTeam Support & Workflow (20%)\nSupport team coordination, training, communication, handoffs, and flexible coverage across operational needs.\nCompliance & Safety (15%)\nFollow company policies, cannabis regulations, PPE requirements, sanitation expectations, and safety procedures.\nProcess Improvement (5%)\nIdentify workflow barriers, suggest improvements, and support changes that improve speed, quality, or accountability.\nRequired Qualifications:\nAbility to follow SOPs, Work Instructions, and food safety procedures\nDemonstrated attention to detail with accuracy and strong organization skills\nExcellent problem solving/judgment skills\nSelf-motivated with a high degree of personal accountability\nStrong time management and team collaboration skills\nComfortable maintaining compliance documentation and batch records\nUnderstanding of (or willingness to learn) METRC and Where4 systems\nMust obtain a valid Food Handler Certification by start date\nWillingness to pivot to support other areas of the facility as needed\nExperience working in a warehouse, transport, distribution or fulfillment environment is required\nMust pass background check per state cannabis regulations\nPhysical & Environmental Demands\nOn feet and physically active 50-75%\nLift 50 lbs regularly; lift 20 lbs repetitively throughout the day\nWork in a fast-paced, hot/cold environment (seasonally dependent)\nMust be comfortable in loud settings and capable of clear verbal communication\nWear all required PPE (bump caps, hair nets, beard nets, safety glasses, sleeves, and slip-resistant footwear)\n42 Degrees Processing is committed to fairness and equality of opportunity in the workplace.
