{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"00a99d1d720de93b83ef17c5","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/00a99d1d720de93b83ef17c5","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/00a99d1d720de93b83ef17c5","title":"Press Operator- 2nd Shift","description":"*2nd Shift Position *\n\n*Responsibilities*:\n\n* Set up, operate, and tear down Automatic Presses (200-1100 ton)\n* Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks per specification to run job orders accurately and maximize productivity\n* Perform first piece quality inspection\n* Record all data needed for inventory control including: good parts, scrap, and other data as necessary\n* Monitor and notify supervisors of machine wear or damage for preventative maintenance\n* Meet established production criteria\n* Troubleshoot and make needed adjustments to equipment for problem resolution\n* Perform rework or sorting as required\n* Maintain safe operations be adhering to safety procedures, regulations, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)\n\n*Minimum Knowledge*, *Skills*, *Abilities*, *and Education*:\n\n* High school diploma or equivalent\n* 2 years’ press experience\n* Good attendance\n* Strong mechanical aptitude\n* Basic Math skills\n* Familiarity with PLS Controls and Servo Feeds and Servo Presses\n* Complete background in press working including: Single and Continuous strokes, Emergency Stops, Die Protection, PLS, Ram Adjustments, Die Clamping, Pilot Releases, Cradle Functions, Selection of Materials and Safety Procedures.\n* Knowledge of basic tools including: Micrometers Calipers, and other precision measuring tools\n\n*Physical Requirements*:\n\nMust be able to lift to 40 pounds at times.\n\nMust be able to bend, stretch, squat, and climb as necessary.\n\nVisual acuity to read instructions, micrometers and inspect parts produced.\n\nJob Type: Full-time\n\nPay: $20.00 -
