We're hiring an experienced EDM Sinker – CNC Machinist III for a contract opportunity to support mission-critical work involving precision-machined components.\r\nThis role focuses on operating and setting up EDM sinkers, mills, lathes, and wire EDM machines in a clean, well-maintained manufacturing environment. You'll play a key role in meeting high-tolerance, high-impact production goals.\r\n\r\n-\r\n\r\nThe Work You'll Be Doing\r\nSet up and operate EDM sinkers , CNC mills, lathes, and wire EDMs\r\nRead and evaluate blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings\r\nPropose new setups and adjust tooling, offsets, and feeds/speeds\r\nTroubleshoot CNC programs and machining issues\r\nPerform in-process inspections using micrometers, indicators, and calipers\r\nCollaborate with Engineering on fixture design and process improvements\r\nMaintain production records and follow GMP/GDP documentation standards\r\nSupport 5S, Lean, and continuous improvement initiatives\r\nAdhere to strict safety, quality, and preventative maintenance practices\r\n\r\n-\r\n\r\nMachines, Materials & Tools\r\nMachine Types : EDM sinkers, CNC mills, CNC lathes, wire EDMs\r\nTools : Micrometers, calipers, indicators, hand deburring tools\r\nControls : G-code familiarity and minor programming required\r\n\r\n-\r\n\r\nWhat We're Looking For\r\nRequired\r\n5+ years of CNC machining experience (EDM preferred)\r\nHigh School Diploma or GED\r\nStrong setup skills across multiple machine platforms\r\nAbility to troubleshoot and make minor program edits\r\nSolid math, measurement, and blueprint reading skills\r\nU. xtnlbfm S.
