changes.\nPursue change orders actively, prepare associated cost estimates and proposals, and negotiate final settlement prices and customer acceptance.\nManage costs, billings, collections, and project financial performance to support profitability and positive cash flow.\nReview contract terms and conditions, analyze project reporting, and escalate issues when needed.\nManage risks, prepare recovery plans, and resolve disputes with minimal escalation.\nNegotiate, prepare, and issue subcontracts.\nMaintain project document controls in compliance with contract requirements and Johnson Controls standards.\nOversee construction work for compliance with specifications, local codes, installation techniques, and safety requirements.\nCoordinate selection, ordering, and delivery schedules for materials procured for assigned projects.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, prime contractors, and subcontractors.\nCoordinate with CMS, HVAC installation, systems, and branch mechanical project team leaders to align resources and support project objectives.\nCoordinate customer training requirements and facilitate escalation of product-related issues when needed.\nFor select projects, provide direction to truck-based teams or self-perform project support activities as required by the assignment.\nHow You Will Do It\nOwn commitments.\nBalance customer satisfaction with project financial results while maintaining a consistent and repeatable project management approach.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture, or an Associate’s Degree with equivalent work-related experience.\nMinimum of eight years of direct project management experience in the building construction industry.\nDemonstrated experience managing complex projects with multiple subcontractors and multiple scopes of work.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to communicate technical material to a non-technical audience.\nProficiency in project management software and financial accounting systems.\nStrong PC skills in MS Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project, as well as Adobe Writer, Visio, and the basic Windows environment.\nCommitment to obtain PMI/PMP certification within two years of employment.\nAbility to manage a large and diverse number of simultaneous challenges across multiple disciplines.\nWillingness to travel as required by project assignment, including projects outside
