You'll bring technical precision and sharp attention to detail to every setup, running machinery that meets our production standards for quality and output. If you take pride in doing things right the first time and want steady daytime hours with a company that rewards consistency, this role is built for you. What You'll Do Set up and operate tools and machines according to written instructions, specifications, and standard charts Review blueprints, work orders, and specifications to determine proper setup sequences and operating parameters Select, install, and secure appropriate tools and fixtures for each production run Position and fasten workpieces onto machine tables or holding devices using clamps, wrenches, or other tools Prepare and adjust fixtures and feeding devices; start machines and engage feed mechanisms Monitor machine operations to ensure consistent performance and output quality Inspect measuring instruments (gauges, calipers, micrometers) to confirm calibration and condition Regulate machine settings and controls to maintain optimal operation Sharpen and maintain tools using bench grinders and other equipment What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent preferred Proven experience in machine setup and operation in a manufacturing environment Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications Working knowledge of measurement tools and precision instruments Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality Why BESTAFF At BESTAFF, we match great people with great opportunities.
