This role works closely with Engineering and Plant Management to ensure high-quality, accurate, and safe completion of electronic and mechanical assemblies.________________________________________Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble and wire complex electronic assemblies and sub-assembliesWire panels, printed circuit boards (PCBs), and cabinetsInstall and route wiring, components, and cable runsPerform electronic and mechanical assembly tasks, including:Component layout and preparationCable fastening and wiringSoldering and crimpingHandle heavy components and sub-assemblies safelyOperate hand and power tools, including:Wrenches, screwdriversSoldering ironsWire strippers and cuttersTerminal lug crimpersDrillsFollow all company policies, including safety, attendance, and break policiesWork overtime as requiredPerform other duties as assigned________________________________________Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent4+ years of experience in a similar electronic assembly or wiring role________________________________________Desired QualificationsStrong safety awarenessWorking knowledge of basic electronicsExcellent mechanical aptitudeAbility to read and use measuring devices, including:Rulers (fractions, tenths, and hundredths of an inch)Micrometers (thousandths of an inch)Calipers (thousandths of an inch)Ability to:Read and follow work instructionsInterpret specification sheets and apply data accurately to assemblies________________________________________Physical RequirementsMedium work level:Lift up to 50 lbs occasionallyLift up to 20 lbs frequentlyLift up to 10 lbs continuouslyFrequent physical activities including:Stooping and crouchingReaching in all directionsStanding for extended periodsFine motor skills:Fingering, grasping, and feeling componentsRepetitive hand, wrist, and finger motionsAbility to:Hear and understand spoken instructionsCommunicate clearly and effectively with team members\\nCompany DescriptionIntellyk is a Joint Commission Certified global staff augmentation firm providing a wide-range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
