SCHOTT Advanced Optics masters the value chain, from development to finishing and metrology, with its portfolio of over 120 glasses.\nSkills/Experience:\nBachelor's Degree in Accounting (or relevant field)\nExperience (3+ years) in a similar role in a fast-paced manufacturing/industrial setting\nExperience and demonstrated knowledge/abilities with SAP\nDemonstrated abilities with MS Excel\nWell-organized and team-oriented.\nExcellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.\nAbility to effectively and accurately deliver results in a challenging and fast-paced environment.\nStrong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving abilities.\nResponsibilities:\nGeneral :\nMaintain and ensure integrity of general ledger system, according to US GAAP and IFRS standards.\nPrepare and analyze reports on production and key performance indicators.\nCollect data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory and labor to assist in business decisions.\nReview cost center reports and follow-up with cost center managers regarding deviations in spending relative to site financial plan/expectations.\nReview excess and obsolete status of inventory on hand. Work with purchasing and operations to optimize inventory balances.\nSupport cycle count process.\nPlanning :\nAssist the Site Controller in all aspects on the financial planning processes for the Business Units.\nControlling :\nAssist the Site Controller with the monitoring of actual site revenues and expenses compared against plan. When applicable, is instrumental in the assistance of the development and implementation of corrective action plans.\nPerform special financial analysis as necessary to provide information needed for key decisions.\nReporting :\nPrepare monthly reports, which help to monitor, control and maximize standard margins and guarantee the efficient use of all site inventories.\nPrepare and review inventory reports with the MRP Controllers in order to ensure an effective flow of WIP System\nAct as a link between the finance department and all of the various SAP module owners.
