{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"00a35a08907aba26da0b7099","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/00a35a08907aba26da0b7099","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/00a35a08907aba26da0b7099","title":"SYSTEMS ENGINEERING AND ANALYSIS","description":"About the Opportunity: Saratech is seeking a Systems Engineer with strong Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) leadership and implementation experience to drive the adoption and maturation of MBSE practices across the organization.\r\nSalary Range\r\n$90 per hour (On-Site in Irvine, CA, 12+ month Contract)\r\nDuties and Responsibilities\r\nDrive the implementation and adoption of MBSE methodologies, processes, and tools across the organization.\r\nServe as an internal MBSE subject-matter expert and champion, providing technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to systems and engineering teams.\r\nDevelop and implement MBSE strategies, workflows, standards, and best practices appropriate for the organization and its products.\r\nLead efforts to integrate MBSE into the broader systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements, architecture, design, interfaces, verification, and validation.\r\nDevelop and maintain system models using CAMEO while ensuring models provide meaningful value throughout the product development lifecycle.\r\nDefine processes for connecting system models with requirements, engineering documentation, analysis, and verification activities.\r\nIdentify opportunities to improve engineering processes through increased use of MBSE and model-based workflows.\r\nWork directly with engineering leadership and multidisciplinary teams to drive organizational change and adoption of MBSE practices.\r\nEducation and Experience\r\nBachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\r\nDemonstrated professional experience in Systems Engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).\r\nProven experience implementing, deploying, and driving adoption of MBSE within an engineering organization.\r\nExperience establishing or improving MBSE processes, methodologies, standards, and best practices.\r\nStrong proficiency with CAMEO Systems Modeler is required.\r\nExperience with thermal management systems or other complex multidisciplinary systems preferred.\r\nExperience with IBM DOORS preferred.\r\nAbility and willingness to work on-site in Irvine, CA\r\nOther Requirements\r\nComplies with all organizational policies and procedures\r\nMaintains strict confidentiality of all customer and/or employee information to assure customer and/or employee rights are protected\r\nAdheres to policies regarding notification of absence and PTO requests\r\nAttends all mandatory management and staff meetings\r\nRepresents the organization in a respectful and professional manner\r\nAttend and comply with annual health, safety, training and education requirements\r\nAdheres to dress code, appearance is neat and clean\r\nSubject to background check\r\nUS Citizen or Green Card\r\nBenefits\r\nRetirement Plan: All employees can enroll in the company's 401k with company matching.\r\nPaid Sick time: All full-time and part-time employees will receive 40 sick hours per year or minimum sick time required by the state.\r\nNOTE TO STAFFING AGENCIES AND RECRUITERS: Saratech does not accept unsolicited resumes from any external agency for the placement of any position.
