Apply via Dice today!Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Aerospace Software Verification Engineer with strong expertise in DO-178C compliance, Structural Coverage Analysis (SCA), and avionics software verification. The ideal candidate will lead and execute verification activities while ensuring compliance with aerospace certification standards.⚠️ Important Note (Mandatory Requirement)This is an ITAR position – Only s can be consideredRecent and hands-on DO-178B/C experience is mandatory (must be clearly visible in resume)Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support a team of 5–10 engineers in executing software verification activitiesAnalyze software requirements and develop comprehensive test casesDesign and document detailed verification test procedures with expected resultsExecute test cases on target hardware/software and document outcomesPerform code coverage analysis (MC/DC, SCA) in compliance with DO-178B/CIdentify, track, and resolve software defects with development teamsPrepare verification reports including pass/fail criteria and deviationsMaintain end-to-end traceability between requirements, design, and testingCollaborate with system and software engineering teamsRequired Qualifications (Must-Have)7–10 years of experience in aerospace software verificationStrong hands-on experience with DO-178B/C standards (recent and authentic)Experience with Structural Coverage Analysis (SCA) and DCCCAExperience with Hardware/Software Integration Testing (HSIT) and low-level testingExperience with avionics communication protocols: TTP, ARINC 429 (A429)Hands-on experience with DOORS and Polarion toolsProficiency in C-based embedded systems testingPreferred SkillsScripting experience in Python and/or TCLExperience in module-level and system-level testingStrong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skillsExperience working in safety-critical and regulated environments
