{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"00a0911b7c75f427e7b8d2bb","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/00a0911b7c75f427e7b8d2bb","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/00a0911b7c75f427e7b8d2bb","title":"Applicator","description":"PURPOSE\n\nAs an Applicator at Central Valley Ag, you will be responsible for the application of agronomy products and to perform needed maintenance.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nLoad, handle, and apply dry and liquid fertilizer, lime, and crop protection products.\n\nUnderstand and safely operate the application equipment assigned.\n\nUtilize the information supplied and the technology in the application equipment to ensure that the right products at the right rates are applied and billed to the right fields and customers.\n\nAssist in the mixing, loading, unloading and transporting of Crop Protection and fertilizer products.\n\nAssist with inventory management.\n\nWorks with supervisor and co-workers to keep errors to a minimum.\n\nProvide excellent customer service.\n\nConsistently follows all laws, regulations, and safety rules (including PPE) in handling and applying products and storing chemicals.\n\nAssist with the maintenance of equipment and plant.\n\nMaintain positive communication with the supervisor and grower as needed.\n\nAssist with scouting, product transportation and various services for producers\n\nProperly complete necessary paperwork and records\n\nAssist with other duties as assigned\n\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nThere are no supervisory roles with the position\n\nREQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE\n\nHigh School or GED diploma\n\nMust be licensed and insurable to drive\n\nMust have or be able to obtain a Class A CDL with tanker and HazMat endorsements\n\nMust have or be able to obtain a Commercial Applicator’s License\n\nKnowledge of DOT or DOT experience preferred.\n\nAbility to communicate in a professional manner and establish effective working relationships with internal operations and external customers.\n\nGreat basic mechanical skills.\n\nWorks in a way that demonstrates safety is a priority.
