As part of our Intel Foundry, you'll contribute to cutting-edge manufacturing and assembly test facilities.The New Product Introduction Systems (NPI Systems) team within Intel Foundry Automation (IFA) is seeking a talented Software Applications Development Engineer to develop comprehensive full-stack software solutions that drive our manufacturing excellence.What You'll DoDevelop automation applications for new product introduction workflows, execution readiness, build logistics, and Design of Experiments (DOE) planningResponsibilities include complete software project lifecycle spanning requirements analysis, design, development, testing and support for automation applicationsCollaborate with Assembly Test Technology Development (ATTD) and Logic Technology Development (LTD) teams across TD and High-Volume manufacturing facilitiesAnalyze stakeholder requirements to identify key challenges and design optimal application/system solutionsBuild robust, high-performance applications that meet current and forecasted business needsDevelop and execute comprehensive automated testing suites to ensure functionality, reliability, and performanceProvide expert-level technical support to TD factories and process engineersKey Skills & BehaviorsStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesExcellent project planning and organizational skillsClear written and verbal communicationAbility to navigate ambiguous requirements and develop practical solutionsAdaptability and customer-focused mindsetSelf-motivated with drive for continuous improvementUnderstand existing software stack and apply new requirements efficientlyExperience working effectively with remote, cross-functional teamsQualificationsThe Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Minimum qualifications listed below would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experience and / or schoolwork/classes/research. The preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.Minimum QualificationsU.S. Citizenship requiredAbility to obtain and maintain US Government TS Security Clearance and SCI access.Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or in a STEM related field2+ years of object-oriented software design and development experienceExperience with Microsoft technologies (C#, .NET Framework) and Angular/ TypeScriptExperienced in Agile and Scrum ProcessesExperience with database development in PL/SQL (Oracle) and/or TSQL (Microsoft SQL Server)Preferred QualificationsExperience with writing WPF (Window Presentation Foundation) and WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) ServicesExperience with Designing multi-tiered and integrated software systemsSoftware project management experience covering overall software development life cycle and familiarity with Agile/SCRUM practicesExperience working with existing software stack and applying new requirements efficiently to meet scalability needs#cjReady to shape the future of semiconductor manufacturing?
