Understand and comply with policies and procedures. Demonstrates dependability and responsibility regarding attendance and punctuality. Skilled in venipuncture. Performs Daily Quality Control & Daily Maintenance per guidelines. Completes testing in a timely and concise manner. Operates and troubleshoots Chemistry, UA, Hematology, and Coag Analyzers. Conducts blood bank testing including type, RH, antibody screening, compatibility testing, and QC. Maintains courtesy and professional conduct with patients, lab staff, physicians, and other employees. Performs miscellaneous testing including serological/micro testing and microscopic analysis. Communicates important information effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and physicians. Maintains overall quality of performance and conduct. Requirements of the Medical Laboratory Technician Must possess a valid Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) license. Experience in blood bank testing is a plus.
