Responsibilities include writing clean, maintainable code, collaborating with team members to understand project requirements, and contributing to the development of innovative software solutions.\r\nKey Responsibilities Design, develop, and test software applications for space systems and technologies.\r\nWrite clean, maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.\r\nArchitect and implement complex software systems to meet project requirements.\r\nCollaborate with team members to understand project requirements and contribute to the development of software solutions.\r\nUtilize version control systems such as Git to manage code changes and collaborate with team members.\r\nParticipate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to development standards.\r\nTroubleshoot and resolve software-related issues in a timely manner.\r\nDocument software configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference.\r\nStay current with industry trends and advancements in software development and space technologies.\r\nMinimum Qualifications Requires a bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree).\r\nTypically, 2+ years of related experience.\r\nStrong understanding of at least one programming language, and general knowledge of others.\r\nStrong understanding of software development principles.\r\nAbility to design, code, test, and debug complex software applications.\r\nExperience with different software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum/Kanban.\r\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\r\nThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance is required.\r\nPreferred Qualifications Technical understanding of C++ and Object-Oriented Programming.\r\nExperience with spacecraft flight software development.\r\nExperience implementing client-server applications using socket I/O using TCP/UDP.\r\nExperience implementing loosely coupled applications using PUB/SUB messaging.\r\nFamiliarity with Open Standards such as CCSDS, C2MS, Open Mission Systems (OMS), and Universal C2 Interface (UCI).\r\nExperience developing mission management and/or payload control software.\r\nExperience with software tools for requirements tracking, code reviews, static analysis, library and artifact repository, and automated build.\r\nKnowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum.\r\nExperience and knowledge of Software Design Patterns.\r\nExperience using SysML/UML to create Software Designs.\r\nExperience testing and debugging on both Software in the Loop (SITL) and Hardware in the Loop (HITL, on target platform) environments.\r\nExperience with Source Code Configuration Management platforms (GIT, SVN).\r\nExperience developing on Linux.\r\nExperience with network configurations including netconf.\r\nExperience with embedded programming including new board build up.\r\nExperience optimizing computer system performance including optimization for timing.\r\nCompensation Pay Range: $105,534.00 - $145,109.25.
