{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"007a386c78e468122fcb674f","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/007a386c78e468122fcb674f","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/007a386c78e468122fcb674f","title":"Process Engineer (3rd Shift)","description":"Principal Duties and Responsibilities Assess and set-up production infrastructure and production process flow set‑up.\nManage NPI introduction process and production documentation (WO BOM validation, shop floor control system routing, production flow diagrams, work instructions, pack‑out instructions, and similar).\nCalculate task time and workforce requirements.\nAccountable for change‑order management: assess, document and communicate all production floor and/or customer‑driven changes, coordinate ECN phase cut‑in process, control ECN/ECO documentation, control manufacturing notice documentation, update all applicable work instructions.\nResponsible for production training in the areas of NPI, ongoing KPIs and ECNs.\nProvide detailed status reports to internal core team managers and, when applicable, to customers.\nMeet with production managers to ensure processes are followed and collaborate to adjust processes and make necessary improvements.\nPerform risk assessments to determine possible improvements that keep the facility running smoothly and efficiently.\nReview safety and quality standards to ensure the manufacturing environment meets guidelines.\nEngage with leadership on complex problems requiring data evaluation across functional areas, divisions, and/or customers.\nGuide project completion and conduct technical tasks or set specific technical strategy and direction for self and/or others.\nEducation and Work Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering.\nStrong background in manufacturing processes, process improvement, and operational optimization.\nExperience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.).\nPhysical ability to work on and around industrial equipment, including occasional lifting up to 50lb.\nAnalytical and problem‑solving skills.\nKnowledge of manufacturing systems.\nEffective in time management and delegation.\nSkilled in debugging and root‑cause analysis.\nJob Complexity and Supervision Capable of managing multiple projects.\nComfortable in a fast‑moving business and team environment.\nAttention to detail and highly motivated.\nAbility to work with minimal supervision.\nWorking Conditions Fast‑paced work environment.\nCertain areas are considered loud;
