We are seeking mid- to advanced-level Inspectors with strong experience inspecting machined metal aerospace or military parts, proficiency in GD&T, hands-on surface plate inspection experience, and familiarity with AS9100, AS9102, and ANSI Y14.5 standards.\n\nThis is a hands-on inspection role—not a quality administrator position—and does not involve final-release, audit packages, or administrative QA paperwork\n\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform in-process and first-article (AS9102) inspections of precision-machined aerospace components.\nPerform dimensional inspections using surface plates and precision inspection equipment.\nUse precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, thread gauges, height gauges, CMMs, profilometers, and optical comparators.\nInterpret complex blueprints and technical drawings using advanced GD&T (ANSI Y14.5).\nRecord inspection results in MRP systems.\nSupport NCR investigations and basic root-cause discussions (no ownership of CAPA or audit documentation).\nMentor junior inspectors and support team development.\nAssist with traceability checks and adherence to FOD, PPE, and cleanroom protocols.\nEnsure compliance with AS9100, ITAR, and internal quality procedures.\nRequirements:\n\nSkills/Abilities\n\nMinimum 3 years inspecting machined aerospace or military parts (metal only).\nHands-on experience performing dimensional inspections on a surface plate.\nStrong proficiency in GD&T, dimensional inspection, and visual inspection.\nKnowledge of AS9100, AS9102, and ANSI Y14.5.\nCMM programming experience (PC-DMIS) strongly preferred; ability to create or modify CMM routines is a plus.\nExperience with 1factory, FileMaker, or similar QMS/MRP systems.\nStrong shop math, problem-solving, and English communication skills.\nDependable, quality-focused, and able to work independently or in a team.\nMust pass annual visual acuity and color-perception tests (NDT standards).\nU.S. person required for ITAR compliance.\nSchedule\nFull-Time, non-exempt\nSecond Shift\nMonday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM\n\nCompensation (Hourly)\n\nLevel I: $21.00-$27.50\nLevel II: $27.50-$34.00\nLevel III: $34.00-$41.00\n\nBenefits\n\nMedical, dental, vision, life insurance\nDisability, vacation, sick pay\n401k\n\nPhysical Demands\n\nWork primarily in an open warehouse environment with exposure to temperature changes, noise, vibrations, fumes, and chemicals\nFrequent use of wrists, hands, and fingers\nExtended periods of sitting, standing, walking, and bending\nOccasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs\n\nITAR Requirement\n\nThis position requires the use of information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
