As a Payroll Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately calculating and remitting payroll taxes, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.This is an onsite position, which means you will have the opportunity to collaborate and engage with your team members in person and contribute to a vibrant company culture. You can enjoy great benefits such as Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Flexible Spending Account, Competitive Salary, Paid Time Off, and Snack/Drink Room.Knowledge And Skills Required For The Position AreMaintain a high level of expert knowledge of federal state and local statutes, regulations and best practices relating to payroll taxesResponsible for accurately and timely filling of federal state and local tax liabilitiesResponsible for accurately and timely filling of amended federal state and local tax liabilitiesReview and monitor payroll records to confirm tax transactions are recorded accuratelyAudit new client set-up to confirm taxes and other items are setup correctlyGenerate audit and correct w-2's as requiredPositively contribute to client retention by providing positive clear and effective customer service communication via phone email and/or faxTeamwork and high level of interaction requiring regular and predictable on-site attendanceFace-to-face interaction and coordination of work with other employeesAll other duties as assignedRequired Skills And Experience2-3 years of experience processing and reconciling payroll taxes across multiple states and locals.Possess the knowledge to process and reconcile payroll taxes in multiple jurisdictions and to learn federal state and local statues regulations and best practices related to payroll taxesAbility to work in a deadline driven environment with a high level of accuracyWork well independently and within a team environmentStrong verbal and written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office programs and could learn and master other software applications as neededPreferred experience in MasterTax and Foundation SoftwareJoin our team today!What's in it for you?
