As a Data Analyst at Airbus, you will collaborate with stakeholders, design methodologies to solve problems and use advanced analytics and algorithms in the context of business needs. You will perform data extraction, exploratory data analytics, and present your findings in dashboards and reports. You will focus on developing hypotheses and employ a diverse toolkit of rigorous analytical approaches, different methodologies, frameworks, and technical approaches to test them. You won’t simply present data, but tell data-driven stories. *please note* you MUST be local to Herndon VA as this position requires 3x a week onsite work.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nAssist in collecting, cleaning, and transforming data from various data sources.\nPerform large-scale data analysis using mathematical and statistical methods and tools to extract business insights.\nIdentify actionable insights, suggest recommendations and influence the direction of the business by communicating results to cross-functional groups.\nSuggest improvements in the modeling techniques to and convince the team on new initiatives.\nSupport in building data visualizations/dashboards to present data insights and recommendations.\nUtilize data analytics tools (e.g. Python, Alteryx, Tableau, Skywise,) for data manipulation, basic analysis, and reporting tasks.\nWrite and execute data queries using SQL, Python, or other data analysis programming languages.\nQualifications/Background Profile:\n\nBachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science/Analytics,\nApplied Sciences, Engineering, or other quant-focused field or equivalent combination of industry related professional experience and education.\n3 years of working experience with 2 +years in SQL and Python.\nPractical experience in a business environment applying analytical skills and tools (Tableau, SQL) to solve real-world problems.\nSome experience and or project course work performing data analysis and applying statistics working with tools such as: Python, MATLAB, R, Tableau, Alteryx, Excel, or SAS.\nFamiliarity with structured, semi-structured and unstructured data sets (XML, JSON, etc.).\nSome experience or project coursework working with databases, data models, and data warehouse concepts.\n\n-\n\nThis job is Hybrid Remote.\n\nPay Range: Hourly $36.00 to $40.00\n\nWe offer several comprehensive benefits package including health and life insurance, paid and unpaid time off, and retirement and savings plans to qualifying employees.\n\nDownload the Sparks Group mobile app from Apple App Store or Google Play.\n\n-\n\nSparks Group is an equal opportunity employer.
