You'd work within the technology landscape safeguarding the performance and stability of proprietary trading systems and related hardware, with direct ownership of technical issues in in-house trading applications. The role blends SRE, Operations Engineer, and DevOps Engineer responsibilities.\n\nWhat you'll do\n\n Deploy, run, and monitor production latency-sensitive trading applications\n Automate trading infrastructure/application management in Python\n Triage and resolve live incidents in a fast-paced trading environment\n Create and integrate monitoring and alerting\n Work with Linux, network, and datacenter engineers to troubleshoot issues and optimize trading performance\n Assist with rollout of new products, systems, and exchanges\n Conduct user acceptance testing across internal trading application stacks\n Review incidents for recurring themes and feed technical requirements back into the development cycle\n\nRequired Skills\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related Engineering/Science discipline\n0-2 years of relevant work experience\nStrong programming ability\nHigh proficiency in Python on Linux Platforms\nNetworking knowledge/interest is a plus\nStrong troubleshooting instincts and root-cause discipline\nCuriosity and eagerness to learn how systems fit together\nAbility to work under pressure and with frequent interruption\nStrong teamwork and collaboration ability\n\nBenefits and Perks\n\nFully paid Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, and Life Insurance\nFully stocked kitchen; free breakfast and lunch every day on-site\nTuition Reimbursement Program\n401(k) with employer match\nPaid Vacation, Sick, and Parental leaves\nCommuter and Flexible Spending Programs\nIn office M-F with 10 remote days per year\n\nBase Salary Range\n\n$150,000 - $200,000 - Salaries are based on numerous factors such as skills, experience, and education.
