Additional bonus opportunities available. Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor / Writer to join our fast-paced dealership team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services. Your energetic approach will ensure customers feel confident and informed about their vehicle’s needs while guiding them through the service process. You will coordinate with technicians to deliver exceptional service, accurately estimate repairs, and promote additional services that enhance vehicle performance and safety. Responsibilities Greet customers and provide excellent customer service Listen to customer concerns and accurately assess their vehicle service needs Provide recommendations for necessary repairs and maintenance based on vehicle inspections Schedule appointments and manage the service schedule efficiently Communicate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs Prepare accurate cost estimates for customers and obtain necessary approvals Process payments and handle cash transactions Maintain a clean and organized work area Experience Previous experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive service center is preferred Knowledge of brake repair, oil changes, air brakes, shocks/struts, suspension, auto body repair, transmission services, tire services, and alignments is highly desirable Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and technicians Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Proficient in using computer systems for scheduling appointments and processing payments Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
