This is a hands-on engineering role with opportunities to lead, mentor, and shape the future of our platform architecture.\r\nThis position can be performed from Westlake, TX or Lafayette, LA in a hybrid working model.\r\nFuture Duties and Responsibilities\r\nDesign and develop scalable web applications using Angular, TypeScript, and Java (Spring/Spring Boot)\r\nBuild and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices for seamless data exchange across platforms\r\nCollaborate in Agile Scrum teams to deliver high-quality software in iterative cycles\r\nDesign and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, and Azure DevOps\r\nContainerize and orchestrate applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform\r\nDevelop automated test suites using JUnit, Selenium, Karma, Jasmine, Cucumber, and Serenity\r\nLeverage AWS services (EC2, EKS, Lambda, DynamoDB) for cloud-native application deployment\r\nUtilize Apache Kafka for distributed event streaming and real-time data processing\r\nMaintain code quality and collaboration through GitHub and pull-request workflows\r\nApply GitHub Copilot or similar AI tools to accelerate development and improve code quality\r\nMentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning\r\nRequired Qualifications\r\n10-13 years of full-stack development experience in enterprise environments\r\nStrong proficiency in Angular, TypeScript, Java, and Spring Boot\r\nExperience with web services (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML) and API integration\r\nFamiliarity with Node.js for backend development and API orchestration\r\nExposure to AWS Lambda and DynamoDB for serverless and NoSQL architecture\r\nWorking knowledge of PostgreSQL for relational data modeling and queries\r\nProven ability to learn large software systems quickly and contribute end-to-end\r\nExcellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills\r\nPreferred Skills\r\nExperience with OpenShift, ROSA, or other Kubernetes platforms\r\nKnowledge of security best practices (RBAC, TLS, Network Policies, etc.)\r\nFamiliarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Dynatrace, or EFK stack\r\nPassion for visual storytelling and executive messaging in technical presentations\r\nEducation: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.\r\nCompensation\r\nCGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications.
