Our work breaks down generational cycles of violence, addiction, and incarceration, positively impacting trauma, addiction and mental health in our communities.\nPosition Overview:\nAs our first Operations Manager you will join a fun, energized, intimate, and creative team committed to expanding human connection in our prison system and transitioning it out into the world. Your jam is to have full creative license to perceive gaps in the organizational functioning of Realness Project, create projects to fill that gap and take it from start to finish. This is an individual contributor position with a lot of opportunity to grow within the organization.\n*This is a three-quarter time position.\nWho you are:\nYou are an organized and grounded human who is deeply passionate about the backend workings of a nonprofit and you thrive on managing diverse operational needs. You love to manage systems, people, projects, and events and are the executive director’s right hand person. You are a go-getter, trendsetter, and co-creator. You love this work.\nWhat you will do:\nOffer robust administrative support around all things operational for the organization\nManage day-to-day organizational operations from program and fundraising events to donor management and various HR responsibilities\nIdentify grant opportunities and manage grant application process\nMaximize use of donor management system (Bloomerang)\nSupport executive director with decision making and creative ideas\nCollaborate with RP team members as needed in support of programs\nEnjoy stepping up to handle ever-evolving organizational needs and changes\nWhat’s Required:\nPrevious experience working in organizational management of nonprofits or corporations\nDemonstrated ability to be a team member as well as an independent self-starter\nStrong technical skills as it applies to various online tools and software systems\nPrior training in Authentic Relating a plus (or desire to get trained upon hiring)\nEssential Qualities:\nUpbeat, outspoken and not afraid to skillfully express your authentic self\nHighly organized, detail oriented, and adaptable to change\nSelf-starting, self-directing, and proactive\nHeart-centered, compassionate, and empathetic\nNice To Haves:\nExperience with Google Drive: Docs, Forms, Sheets etc.\nExperience using Bloomerang and/or FundraiseUp to manage donations\nExperience with event planning: QR codes etc\nExperience with Colorado Gives Day and Giving Tuesday\nPlease Note:\nThe responsibilities and qualifications mentioned above are subject to change based on the evolving needs of Realness Project. Candidates must be adaptable and willing to take on additional responsibilities as required.\nThe job of the Operations Manager is restricted to the inner workings/backend of Realness Project. Please do NOT apply if you are hoping to go into prisons for programming.
