Area Sales Manager – UR, MiR
Job Description: Maintain and increase sales volume with existing and new accounts for UR's portfolio of collaborative robots and MiR's Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs)Manage a designated sales territory and be responsible for all business transactions and relationships within Northern California & Northern NevadaWork proactively with appropriate division management, related support departments, and multi-channel partnersInterface with stakeholders at partners and customers including Engineering, Maintenance, IT, Logistics, Management, and C-SuiteReport to the Regional Sales ManagerProvide in-depth technical product information and educate partnersManage opportunity funnel, forecasting and action plansDrive KPIs to achieve annual combined target for UR and MiR productParticipate in joint visits with distributor and omni-channel sales repsSupport existing partners through our sales processInitiate, qualify sales leads and follow through with Inside Sales TeamLead regular business reviews with partnersRepresent Teradyne Robotics at tradeshows and other professional activitiesDevelop and maintain knowledge of competitive productsRequirements: Bachelor's degree or higher (BSEE or BSME preferred) or relevant experience4-5+ years of experience in outside salesProven track record of exceeding sales quotaDemonstrable success in advising on/selling technical productsExperience working with distribution and omni-channelPrevious experience in industrial automation, solution/project sales involving technical productsBusiness acumen applicable at different levels of decision makers from senior management to technical supportAbility to communicate effectively, both oral and writtenKnowledge of Microsoft Office 365Background with Salesforce CRM preferredBenefits: medical, dental, visionFlexible Spending Accountsretirement savings planslife and disability insurancepaid vacation & holidaystuition assistance programs
