Head Lifeguard $19.15 - $22.17 In addition to working as a pool lifeguard, Head Lifeguards will assist the Recreation Coordination in the instruction and supervision of Pool Lifeguards and Pool Lifeguard/Water Safety Instructors; to plan and administer seasonal aquatics activities; to perform swim rescues and emergency medical treatment; and to assist in the maintenance and operations of the facility and equipment.

Performs a variety of pool and park maintenance related tasks such as pressure cleaning, painting, and minor repairs of park equipment. Performs a variety of pool related tasks such as checking pool water chemistry, cleaning pool, cleaning around pool, and maintaining related equipment.

Some departments required additional life support certification: A4 nurses also require Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby Unit and Special Care Nursery nurses also require Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Maternal Child Health Float Pool require NRP and if float onto A4, PALS is required.
