To assist the head football coach in the development, organization and implementation of the entire football program, as well as in the provision of leadership to football personnel and student athletes.

The coach must adhere to all LHSAA assigned district, Jefferson Parish Public School System (JPPSS) and the Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA) rules and regulations relative to the football program.

Assists the head coach in providing overall supervision of the football program. Previous coaching experience on the junior varsity, junior high/middle school or other recreation activity level in football.

Reporting to the Head Football Coach, the successful applicant will be responsible for developing, implementing, and teaching the defensive and/or offensive strategies and techniques for the football program.

Graduation from high school or equivalent and a minimum of two years of experience as an assistant coach; must be at least 21 years of age (WIAA Regulation) or any combination of experience and training which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and ability required to perform the work and that meets federal and state requirements.

Aligning with the vision of the Head Football Coach this position is responsible for developing practice drills related to the defensive scheme, assisting with training sessions, assisting with creating sound defensive strategies, game preparation/game-day coaching, monitoring position groups academics and scouting opponents.

The Youth Football Coach will be responsible for training young boys and girls, focusing on technical skills, personal development, and values both on and off the field. This is a part-time on-site role for a Youth Football Coach at Juventus Academy London.

Five years of recent collegiate level football coaching experience. Three years of recent football coaching experience. Ability to assume the duties of the head coach, to promote the program, and a commitment to the academic success of student athletes.

The Assistant Football Coach assists with all aspects of the football program to include: coaching during competitions and practices, recruitment of student-athletes, academics, and NCAA compliance.

Adjunct - FY25- Head Football Coach. WLAC seeks a part time, non-tenured Head Coach for Football to manage the Football program and teach fall and spring term Kinesiology Athletic classes: (1) Football Skills class and (1) Football Strength and Conditioning class.

Supports the goals and objectives of the Macon County School District and the head football coach. Performs other duties as assigned by the head football coach, school administrators, and/or district administrators.

Working closely with a collaborative athletic department, the assistant coach will receive ample support to effectively communicate, strategize, and execute a thriving varsity girls flag football season and program.

Work with students in outdoor playing fields, indoor and outdoor courts, gymnasium, swimming pool or other sports facility; physical ability to lift and move sports equipment and demonstrate sports skills when necessary; may be exposed to infectious diseases and inclement weather.

Support the COS Head Football Coach, and COS Football Program with recruiting, on field coaching, practice planning, monitoring student athlete academic progress, weight and conditioning programs, scouting and developing game plans and any other duties assigned by the Head Football Coach.
