As an Associate Maintenance Technician , you will be responsible to troubleshoot, repair, and conduct preventative maintenance on metal stamping equipment and supporting equipment. Perform preventative maintenance on stamping presses and supporting equipment.

Software: Esprit or similar CAM software; Mechanical CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor; Microsoft Suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel. As a CNC Tool Room Machinist, you will be responsible for programming and operating CNC mills and using other shop equipment to create specialized and unique components used in the building of progressive stamping dies, as well as making prototypes and supporting other Simpson projects with your machining skills.

YOUThe Plant Superintendent guides, directs and coach production employees to safely manufacture high quality products at a sufficiently high volume to meet production standards with minimal waste. Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.

Equipment: Ability to operate a forklift, reach truck, and pallet jack. Knowledge of cartridge filling equipment, material drum presses, and pumps, and shrink wrap equipment (preferred). As an Associate Material Handler, you will be responsible for ensuring all raw materials and components are available to the production team to ensure all customer demands are met with an emphasis on good safety practices.

Computer/Software/Technology: Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point), Salesforce CRM, SAP ERP, and other industry standard software packages.

Experience in the operation of forklift, reach truck, order picker, and electric ride-on pallet jack preferred. Create and apply documents, such as shipping labels, packing list, and bills of lading for each pallet/shipment.
