This position is primarily focused on the preparation of the Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plan and the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) for projects. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supporting SPCC and SWPPP implementation; Threatened and Endangered species implementation, Air Permitting implementation, recycling and waste disposal and sustainability innovation at project sites, and pre-construction support for proposal efforts.

They must have the ability to listen and build relationships with various employees including estimating, procurement, and project operations teams as well as client representatives. This position requires the capability of travel to project sites on a monthly basis, as needed.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Staff Environmental Specialist will support environmental related aspects of multiple projects, as required by federal, state, and local regulations during both the pre-construction and construction phase of solar projects.
