Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician will be an integral member of the Nucor Skyline team who brings a strong and consistent work ethic and demonstrates a commitment to follow all electrical/mechanical maintenance practices.

You will support the fabrication division of Nucor Harris Rebar with machine repair, maintenance and trouble shooting. The role of the Maintenance Technician is primarily two-fold.

Electrical Technician develops and implements effective troubleshooting and repair practices, and preventive and corrective maintenance programs for plant electrical and control equipment.

3 years of documented experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician with a strong mechanical application. The Maintenance Technician will be part of the team responsible for the maintenance, reliability, improvement, and upgrade of equipment in our Division to maintain world class operational capability.

Nucor Skyline is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician. The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical systems.

The Maintenance Technician will safely provide support to the maintenance and operations teams by performing routine preventative, breakdown and upgrade maintenance as necessary in order to improve the production equipment and process during the course of normal production hours.
