The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs direct patient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensed medical professional. Graduate from certified nursing assistant program with subsequent documentation as a certified nursing assistant per state requirements with proof of verification as being an active certification and in good-standing.

Prefer one year experience as a certified nursing assistantwithin the last three years. TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable. Our nationwide suite of services includes home healthcare, companion and behavioral care, healthcare staffing, and workforce solutions.

Safeguards the client/patient by observing appropriate infection control procedures including but not limited to universal precautions. Performs duties within scope of practice, as assigned, in an accurate and timely manner.

Successful completion of new hire training as applicable to job site. Understand patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements. Notifies the supervising nurse of any abnormal findings or conditions. Adheres to facility/client policy, procedures and protocols at all times.

The CNA performs a variety of individualized patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of patients. Shift: AM, PM, or NOC. Schedule: 5x8s, every other weekend required.

Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clericalfunctions. Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation) Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to andfrom appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors,co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in theEnglish language is required.

36-40 hours a week. Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status. Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice. Health, dental, vision, and life insurance. Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.

Current CPR if applicable. Computer proficiency required. Maintains patient confidentiality of all clients. Assists doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers with treatments, procedures, and tests being performed in a variety of patient care settings.
