The Grounds Maintenance Supervisor leads, coordinates and participates in the work of crews responsible for maintaining turf and irrigation systems at all Municipal Golf Course facilities.

Essential Functions Performs tasks of grounds maintenance requiring the knowledge of use and general maintenance of mechanized equipment including lawn equipment i.e. weed eaters, walk behind mowers, hedge trimmers and edger, pruners, leaf vacuums/blowers.

Repairs, overhauls, adjusts, and performs preventative maintenance on light-to-medium duty gasoline/diesel internal combustion, hydraulic, and electric power equipment, including but not limited to: Diagnoses malfunctions and determines method of repair and need for light-to-medium duty landscape and grounds equipment.

Perform grounds maintenance such as: mowing, edging, blowing, weed eating, pruning, yard debris collection, road grading, pot hole repairs, cleaning out storm water drains, pressure washing, gutters, and at times pesticide/ herbicide application.
