Satisfactorily complete a school bus driver training course administered by an authorized school bus driver instructor. Every authorized school bus driver must continue to meet the following requirements: Have a valid driver's license or commercial driver's license, as required by law, issued by the state department of licensing.

An ESS substitute bus aide plays an integral role in assisting the school bus driver in providing a safe, orderly, and efficient transportation service for students. Assists bus driver in keeping routine records related to student transportation or behavior as assigned.

School Bus Drivers are responsible for conducting pre-trip inspections and running established routes each school day, morning and afternoon. Inspect the bus upon completion of assigned routes to insure no students remain and collect lost items.

The ideal candidate has a CDL Class B Driver's License and previous experience as a bus driver. As the Motor Coach Driver, you will be responsible for the safe operation of a 56 passenger motor coach while adhering to a strict schedule and ensuring your passengers’ well-being.
