The Quality Control Inspector will perform Required Inspection Items (RII) work in Lieu of the Chief Inspector, as well as Boroscope Inspections, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Inspections and other duties assigned.

The Quality Control Tech is a team member who guarantees continuous production and ensures our hot mix asphalt, liquid asphalt, cold mix asphalt, crushed stone, sand, and gravel are consistent with State, Federal and local specifications.

SPU is seeking a dynamic, experienced Cross-connection Control Specialist/Drinking Water Quality Inspector (Utility Service Inspector, Senior) to become part of our Utility Service Inspections team.

Complete inspections throughout the City of Seattle’s direct water service area to help ensure that customers comply with Washington State and City of Seattle cross-connection control regulations, as well as other rules, policies, and procedures that protect public health and drinking water quality.

Experience: A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in installation, maintenance and repair of water distribution systems or engineering inspection; or two years’ experience as a water utility inspector and one year of formal training in an approved waterworks training program.

The Senior Research Associate position will function as a quality-control and radiochemistry specialist , which is essential to the quality delivery of investigational radiopharmaceuticals for clinical practice and research at UT Southwestern in full compliance with FDA's regulations.

Under the supervision of the Resident Engineer, the Construction Inspector will perform the monitoring, inspecting and coordinating of construction management and quality assurance inspections as noted below.

Follow and assist with the formulation of standard operating procedures, including quality control / assurance, document control; Complete and help oversee activities related to the maintenance and upkeep of the County's road and bridge inventory, including but not limited to: paving, patching, inlet repair, head wall construction, erosion control, grading, pipe installation and extension, curb installation, ADA Ramps, sinkhole stabilization, tree/brush/grass trimming/removal and other debris removal.

Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, flow of production and shipping processes, and quality control standards.

The inspector will monitor the work of contractors to ensure compliance with contract requirements, specifications, and quality standards for transportation projects of moderate to considerable complexity.

Minimum 5 years’ experience leading a quality control function with welding in a heavy manufacturing environment. Maintain & update Veritas Steel’s Quality Control Manual on a regular basis.

One (1) year minimum PennDOT experience as a Transportation Construction Inspector 1 (TCI-1) or higher, and has one (1) of the following three (3) certifications: PennDOT Concrete Technician Certification, NECEPT Field Technician Certification, or NICET Level II Certification or higher in Highway Construction, only NICET Certifications in Highway Construction are allowed unless special circumstances of other NICET subfields are requested for Central Office approval.
