The International Admissions Counselor is a Homeland Security Student & Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) designated school official (DSO) for the admissions process.

Experience with processing student applications for admissions (e.g. review, analyze, evaluate and process information). Properly utilizes the financial assistance component of the Student Information System (SIS) to input data regarding student eligibility and financial awards, perform data corrections, etc., to ensure the completeness, accuracy, and currency of financial assistance data and related student information.

Two years' experience using the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) to admit and enroll nonimmigrant students. Knowledge of the international student higher education journey with understanding of how a customer relationship management (CRM) system can support student outreach, onboarding and retention.
