Responsibilities Program Development and Implementation:Develop and implement comprehensive Industrial Hygiene and Safety (IHS) programs, policies, procedures, and technical basis documents to prevent, correct, or control potential health and safety hazards in the workplace.

Strategic Management: Oversee private and public contracting work related to environmental compliance, industrial hygiene, and safety/OSHA compliance. Knowledge: Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, industrial hygiene principles, storm water compliance, RCRA compliance, and universal waste management.

Knowledge/experience with OSHA programs including fall protection, machine guarding, hazardous materials, personnel protective equipment, electrical safety, fire protection, hearing conservation program, respiratory protection program and toxic and hazardous substances and with EPA’s SPCC, SWPPP and RCRA programs.

Maintain regulatory compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local environmental, industrial hygiene, and occupational health and safety regulations. Serve as the primary contact for OSHA, EPA, or affiliated agenciesMaintain EHS metrics on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis and develop plans to improve performance by analyzing trends.
